Vintage Four Roses Whiskey Lighted Advertising Clock ~~ 1930's

Amazing find! Perfect for your whiskey collection and home bar! Clock was made for advertising of Four Roses Whiskey. Art Deco style, the rose designs and the clock face are painted on metal with a 1/4" thick piece of glass. When turned on the clock lights up, illuminating "Four Roses".

A little history: In 1884, Paul Jones Jr, moved his thriving business to Louisville, Kentucky, where he opened an office in a section of historic Main Street called, “Whiskey Row”. Four years later, he trademarked the name Four Roses, claiming production and sales back to the 1860s. In 1922, the Paul Jones Company purchased the Frankfort Distilling Company. Frankfort Distillery was sold to Seagrams in 1943.

Condition: As you can see in the pictures, there is some rust on base. Glass has no chips or cracks. The clock does work! For almost 100 years old, this is one amazing piece of whiskey history.
