This would be BEAUTIFUL on a kitchen island! LOVE this!
Gorgeous Italian Porcelain with hand painted vegetables. White porcelain with hand painted green. The lid is topped with a bounty of garden harvest vegetables. What is so nice is this set includes a wide platter and ladle.
Bottom of the tureen and plate have stamped: Garden Harvest, ARAART 5th Ave, Hand Painted 55/1414

Excellent condition: No chips on platter, ladle or top. One leave on the top has a small chip, which has been painted, 1/4" long x 1/8" wide chip. See last picture, it is the top leaf, about 1" from tip on the side.

My wife received one of these for a bridal shower gift 45 years ago, truthfully I hated it, but as I got older and wiser I came to appreciate it's beauty. It was used for most important holiday dinners. Now this is where the story changes, Unfortunately it was broken maybe 25 years ago, then I was walking around a flea market and there was a replacement, so if course I purchased it. Bad luck or clumsy family, tureen #2 was also dropped. Now to Etsy on a whim I typed in a search for soup tureen and now we have #3 still they are quirkly beautiful. We are happy, Thank you
