Antique Cast Iron Scale
This scale is made out of heavy cast iron with a brass tray/dish. The base has a nice detailed foot. The scale weighs over 5lbs. The tray is brass. The tray is in excellent condition, with very few dents and age spots. Very nice scale for your home.
It is marked: Supurb, Pelouze Mafg Co, Chicago. I am guessing this is from the early 1910's.
This would look great in a kitchen or office bookshelves.
This scale is in working order, but not sure it is accurate. I weighed some items and it did level out, so it does work. Excellent condition, very clean, label has some rust marks, see pictures.
Measurements: 5 1/2" wide at footed base, 3 3/4" round at base without foot design, 8 1/4" Tall with tray
