Vintage FRED PRESS Trojan Black & Gold Horse Ice Bucket
Fabulous Ice Bucket designed by Fred Press. The famous Trojan Horse design in gold, black and cream colors. The designs are textured. This ice bucket has a metal handle and top. The inside is a beautiful thick amber glass liner. Incredible and rare find of Fred Press!
Excellent condition: The designs are in excellent condition with no rips or wear. The gold top has a unique texture of paint over metal. There are some areas of wear, this does not take away from this rare Fred Press ice bucket. See pictures.

History of Fred Press: Fred Press was born in Boston, MA in 1919. He studied and later taught at the Vesper George School of Art and was the founder of the sculpture collection Contemporary Arts, Inc. In the 1950s, Press moved to New York City where he became chief designer for Rubel and Co. and turned his artistic skills towards glassware and giftware. He was one of the most versatile and prolific of America's 20th Century designers.
