Vintage CULVER ESPANA Gold Scroll Flared Old Fashioned Glasses ~~ Whiskey glasses
Set of 7
Designed by Culver in the 1970s, this set has beautiful raised gold scrolls with a gold band. Culver is a rare find, especially in this pattern! Stunning MCM rocks glasses! I do not see any signage on these glasses, so I am assuming they from the 1970's. Love the feel and look of these glasses, gorgeous!!
Perfect for your scotch, whiskey or bourbon. Great for all your cocktails
Measurements: 4 1/8" Tall x 4" Wide, Holds 12 oz to rim
Excellent condition with no chips. The 22K gold designs are in good condition but do have some wear. The raised gold is very nice, but the outer area is slightly worn on some glasses. These are beautiful vintage Culver glasses and look amazing. A great addition to your vintage collection.
A little history about Culver Barware:
Culver Glass Company - Lavish and Opulent Cocktail ware of the 1950's - 1960's. In the late 1950’s, Culver Ltd started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. The super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver glass from the 1940’s through the ’50s are signed with a script Culver. The Culver mark changed to block lettering in the late 1960’s through the 1970’s. Culver glass after the 1970s are typically unmarked today because the company changed to paper labels attached to the glass. Many of these labels have disappeared from use.
