Fabulous cobalt blue glass with 22K gold. Two glasses have a large 22k gold sun with stars and smaller planets. Two other glasses have a large 22k gold moon with planets. A fabulous Culver set. Absolutely STUNNING cocktail glasses! Glasses have a nice heavy base.

Each glass is signed CULVER MADE IN THE USA, dating to the 1960's-1970;s

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The 22K gold designs do have slight wear, but as you can see in the pictures, the sun designs are in good condition.

Culver Glass Company - Lavish and Opulent Cocktailware from the 1940's. In the late 1950’s, Culver Ltd started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. The super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver glass from the 1940’s through the ’50s are signed with a script Culver. The Culver mark changed to block lettering in the late 1960’s through the 1970’s. Culver glass after the 1970s are typically unmarked today because the company changed to paper labels attached to the glass. Many of these labels have disappeared from use.
