Exquisite Vintage Steuben! By Steuben Glass Works, Corning, NY. Known as the #7877 baluster stem, this is the most coveted of all the glasses. Intended as a water glass, today these goblets find more usage as wine glasses. George Thompson design is perfectly balanced, deliciously heavy in the hand, and visually pleasing, while conspicuously modern, circa 1940.
Glasses are blown glass with an elegant teardrop ~ bubble stem. Simple but very elegant for your wine or cocktails. Glasses are a heavy glass. Love the feel and look of these glasses! A rare find!
Made by Steuben, glasses are not marked. Pattern #7877, made from 1940-1949
Measurements: 6 1/2" Tall x 3 1/2" Wide at rim, holds 8 oz with 1/4" to rim
Excellent condition with no chips, glasses have very slight cloudiness, when held up to bright light.
